The International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP) and The Rockefeller Foundation have formalized a partnership to provide The Rockefeller Foundation “Zero Gap” grantees access high-level, pro bono legal advice to create and deploy innovative investment strategies.
The goal of the partnership is to help close the gap between development funding needs and the resources available and create a more prosperous future aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Rockefeller Foundation has been a leader in searching for solutions to the world’s most challenging problems. The Rockefeller Foundation’s approach via the Zero Gap initiative, comprised of a portfolio of projects targeting critical development objectives, provides a model on how the development community can support innovative financing mechanisms to deploy private capital for major impact.
Given ISLP’s focus on advancing legal solutions to development challenges, ISLP is uniquely positioned to provide experienced, actionable legal advice to The Rockefeller Foundation’s Zero Gap grantees.
By combining the expertise of The Rockefeller Foundation and the expertise and advice of ISLP lawyers who can assist with very specific legal needs, this new collaboration looks to have many positive and innovative outcomes.
