ISLP recently collaborated with the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) to contribute to advancing public health in Guyana and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. With policy guidance from the PAHO, ISLP volunteers from Hogan Lovells drafted a new suicide prevention act for the Guyanese Ministry of Legal Affairs. This model is under consideration in other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
