International Senior Lawyers Project and Institute for African Women in Law partnered to host an expert session on Fundamentals of International Commercial and Investment Arbitration with ISLP volunteer lawyers Tosin Murana, Victoria Stamour, and Alexis Foucard from Clifford Chance. The event was moderated by IAWL’s Lauraine Darkwah, law lecturer at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghana, and drew more than 200 participants from diverse legal backgrounds, including judges, legal scholars, practicing lawyers, and law students. The session is part of an ongoing commitment by ISLP and IAWL to strengthen legal capacity and foster inclusivity within the profession. The speakers provided practical insights into arbitration practice and key developments for practitioners engaging in cross-border dispute resolution.
