At the Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa 2025 (FIFAfrica25), a convening of policymakers, legal experts, civil society leaders, and digital rights advocates, International Senior Lawyers Project hosted a session on Legal Pathways for Equitable Media Revenue Sharing. The panel examined whether, and if so how, regulatory frameworks, platform governance, and innovative legal strategies can advance distribution of the benefits of Africa’s digital economy more fairly and inclusively.  Bridget Mafusire, ISLP’s regional legal advisor based in Zimbabwe, moderated the discussion with Catherine Kamau of Ashitiva Advocates LLP and media experts Tim Zunckel and Teldah Mawarire.
