The International Senior Lawyers Project welcomes the participation of lawyers from all over the world in its volunteer projects. There are a number of ways to get involved: overseas pro bono projects can vary from 1-2 week trainings to 2-3 months providing onsite support at an NGO. There are also opportunities for desk-based projects that do not involve travel. Please note that ISLP generally sends only senior-level lawyers (partner-level or at least 15 years of experience, although there can be exceptions) abroad.
ISLP volunteers:
ISLP is widely respected for its worldwide network of volunteer lawyers and its focus on the delivery of quality legal services. The skills, experience and interests of each potential volunteer are closely considered against the specific assistance needs of a wide array of clients.
