Open Society MEL Jamboree
Our Director of Strategy recently participated in a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Jamboree hosted by one of our key funders, the Open Society Foundation’s Fiscal Governance Program.
Led by the Program’s MEL Manager Megan Colnar and facilitated by Anita Ernstorfer, Director at CDA Collaborative Learning Projects, the two-day event brought together MEL practitioners and staff with associated responsibilities from about 60 percent of the Program’s grantees.
ISLP was delighted to participate as we work to strengthen our own understanding of our impact, responsibly question the assumptions underlying our work, and refine our programs in response to what we learn.
It was, of course, also a wonderful opportunity to connect with other grantees and professionals with whom we can engage in this process.
