/  ISLP-UK Interns are provided a great opportunity to gain experience in the NGO sector, develop research skills, and become exposed to how lawyers engage in international pro bono work. Day-to-day responsibilities involve assisting ISLP-UK staff with administrative tasks, as well as the development, coordination and implementation of international legal projects, including researching potential project partners and project contexts, recruiting legal volunteers, and assisting with communications, publicity, and fundraising.


Qualifications and experience: 

/  Candidates with interest in contributing to ISLP-UK’s mission should have a strong academic record, be able to demonstrate excellent communication and research schools, be energetic and adaptable, and IT literate. Foreign language skills, particularly French and Spanish, are a plus.

The Internship is unpaid, though travel expenses up to £9 per working day and lunch expenses up to £5 per day will be reimbursed.
